Shoaib Akhtar has been tested positive for banned drug NANDROLONE. Its been a usual story for people tested positive for drug .. they were innocent .. dint know that they were taking drugs .. was recommended by a doctor .. hard to believe these stories.

This is not the first instance for Shoaib .. already twice he was tested positive for banned drug. Pakistan Board was very smart in rushing to declare the ban. As Shoaib's drug abuse was getting apparent .. and it was just matter of time .. before it would get exposed.

A two year ban would mean end of the career for Shoaib. But two year is too less for the intention to cheat. I cant imagine the mental state of bowlers who are so genuine in their attempt to bowl fast when they hear about drug abuse. Ajit Agarkar, Irfan Pathan, RP Singh, VRV Singh & Munaf Patel .. 140 - 145 kmph is ideal and the best one can bowl with genuine action and without drugs.

Hope the spirit of the game is kept alive.
