BENGAL TIGER .. ROARS

Hiyoooeeee .. India has won the first test in Johannesburg, South Africa. Very very happy moment for the Indian Cricket as well as for Rahul as captain. First Test victory in South Africa in the history of Indian Cricket. India was going through a very bad phase but with this win everything looks to be over. India played like champions. Sourav Ganguly, VVS Laxman, Zaheer Khan & Sreesanth showed the perseverance pays rich dividends.

Sourav Ganguly played like a hero. He proved that the layoff was due to politics and not permanent lack of form. Sourav looked calm composed but very determined within. The determination was evident. Sourav Ganguly knew that he had to perform to put and end to questions about his abilities. Infact only when player are made to sit out they realise the importance of domestic cricket, fitness as well as nets. Sourav Ganguly is no exception. The long lay off has indeed brought the fighting spirits within Sourav Ganguly.

In the first test against South Africa he started nervously but was very determined not to give it away. The team needed him to bat. And dada showed that he could face any kind of oposition with his gritty knock of unbeaten 51. He had to hang around with the lower order, received adequate support from VRV Singh. He played well in the second innings as well but the innings dint last long. The fond memories of the match will last long in the minds of fans. He proved that he is a hero. This is just the begining and Sourav knows that he will have to perform consistently to capture what he had lost.

Hope & pray that he continues to do so in future as well.
